In a country that is four times the size of the United Kingdom, there is no wonder that Tanzania is known for its vast expanse of wilderness, from the Salous National Park to the more famous Serengeti. In a land noted for its sheer volume and diversity of fauna, it is almost impossible to miss the “BIG FIVE”. It’s people are humble, friendly and welcoming with a slight Arabic twist, due to its former hereditary. Be lulled by the gentle tropical waters whilst sipping cocktails on one the many beaches that run along the coastline of the magical island of Zanzibar.

Our Guides

The experience and enjoyment of a tour often stands and falls upon the ability of, and interaction with your guide. Of this we are profoundly aware. Hence we at Sense of Africa, East Africa take great pride in selecting the most appropriate guide for each and every tour undertaken. Most guides have been with our company for in excess of 10 years, which is true sign of their abilities and adaptability. Often, guides will even be requested by our clients and agents as they are known intimately to them, either from past tours they have undertaken or from clients’ feedback. Learning is on-going, with annual training and coaching.

Our Fleet

Sense of Africa Tanzania has a medium sized fleet of comfortable 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles, ideal for travel and safari. Our vehicles are often utilised both on an exclusive and shared basis. Being custom-built the vehicles are ideal for safaris and wildlife viewing.

Tanzania is most famous for its annual migration of over 1 million white bearded wildebeest and 200,000 zebra. The Serengeti covers 14,763km of grassland plains and savannah as well as riverine forest and woodlands.
