DAY 1 | Saturday / Tuesday
Leaving Windhoek, we travel into the Kalahari Desert. With its deep red dunes and endless grass plains interspersed with acacia’s and shrubs, it is still home to a large amount of specially adapted wildlife. Enjoy an optional nature drive.

DAY 2 | Sunday / Wednesday
FISH RIVER CANYON
We travel south to the unique Garas quiver tree with the boulders stacked mysteriously, the area is also aptly referred to as “Giant’s Playground”. At the lodge, situated close to the Fish River Canyon, we can explore the area on foot or an optional guided nature drive in the late afternoon.

Day 3-4 | Monday – Tuesday / Thursday – Friday
Our morning starts on the edge of the Fish River Canyon. We continue to Naute Kristall Cellar and Distillery, where we enjoy an optional tasting of their unique liquors. We then head towards the coastal town of Lüderitz. On route, we will stop at Garub, a viewing point for the Wild Horses of the Namib Desert.
The following day our day starts with a visit to Kolmanskop, a deserted diamond-mining town in the Sperrgebiet National Park. Today Kolmanskop stands as a haunting monument to the thriving past. We also visit Diaz Point. Back in Lüderitz we explore this historic town.

Day 5-6 | Wednesday – Thursday / Saturday – Sunday
After an early breakfast, we travel further north to our lodge in the Namib Desert. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the pool, enjoying the vast open desert plains, or participate in optional activities offered by the lodge. The next day demands an early start. We enter the Namib Naukluft National Park shortly after sunrise. You will be captivated by the surreal Deadvlei surrounded by some of the highest dunes on earth and Sossusvlei. Enjoy breakfast amidst the camelthorn trees and endless dunes. Before returning to our lodge, we visit the Sesriem Canyon. Enjoy each afternoon at leisure.

Day 7-8 | Friday – Saturday / Monday – Tuesday
After breakfast we approach the little settlement of Solitaire on the edge of the Namib Naukluft National Park, before travelling towards the harbour town of Walvis Bay. We visit the shallow lagoon, one of the most important wetland areas in Africa. Finally we reach Swakopmund, where the next two days are spent at leisure. Explore the rugged, sweltering desert on a day tour, or from an aerial view on a scenic flight.

Day 9 | Sunday / Wednesday
Today we head back inland past the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain into the Damaraland, home to the elusive desert elephant and black rhino. We visit the Living Museum of the Damara and the Petrified Forest. Once at the lodge, guest have the remaining afternoon at leisure.

Day 10 | Monday / Thursday
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Our destination today is the wildlife heaven – the Etosha National Park. Before checking into our lodge located on the border of the Etosha National Park, we enter the park for our first game viewing excursion, exploring the various waterholes located close to Okaukuejo and the Anderson gate.

Day 11-12 | Tuesday – Wednesday / Friday – Saturday
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
The day is devoted purely to the abundant wildlife found in the Etosha National Park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. Game viewing in the park is primarily focussed around the waterholes, ideal places to sit and watch different game and bird species. An extensive network of roads links the over 30 water holes throughout the park. The following day we enter back into the Etosha National Park. We may encounter animal species we have not seen the previous day. In the afternoon we travel back to our lodge, where we enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. An optional open vehicle game drive can be booked with the lodge.

Day 13 | Thursday / Sunday
After breakfast, we travel back to Windhoek. En-route we stop at the famous wood carvers market in Okahandja or the craft market in the main street in Windhoek to pick up the last few souvenirs. You will be dropped off at your accommodation or transferred to the international airport.
