Day 1-2
NAMIB DESERT
After our arrival at Windhoek International Airport, we meet our pilot in the arrivals hall and fly across endless plains and stunning mountain ranges towards the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world. Kwessi Dunes Lodge is a safari camp located deep in Namibia’s striking NamibRand Nature Reserve, a vast desert wilderness of over 200 000 hectares. With its rolling desert plains and backdrop of craggy mountains and iconic red dunes, this is a place where time seems to stand still, and the space is never-ending. Here, it’s not about chasing big game but rather soaking up the beauty of the colourful landscape, admiring the antelope that scatter the sand, and gazing at the stars that light up the night sky.
The following day starts with an early start entering the Namib-Naukluft Park at sunrise, while the temperature is still mild and when the dune contrasts are at their best with the rising sun. You travel in a game viewer with your own desert ranger who shares all his knowledge of the area, animals, plant life, geology and much more. Regular stops are made on the impressive drive through the dune corridor to take in the awe-inspiring vistas. The day’s highlight awaits you after a gradual guided walk to Deadvlei, which is a must for any Namibia visitor. The more energetic can climb to the upper ridge of Big Daddy Dune, one of the highest dunes in the world!

SWAKOPMUND
We continue with our flight across the Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund, a tranquil coastal town situated between the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean.
On day 2 at the coast, we head out to explore its contrast and unique scenery on a marine adventure. Enjoy a catamaran marine cruise on the calm waters of the Walvis Bay peninsula, enjoying the interaction with Cape fur seals, dolphins, leatherback turtles and maybe even whales and Orcas, while sipping cold sparkling wine and savouring the taste of fresh oysters and snacks.
The afternoon is at leisure. Swakopmund offers a wide variety of activities including scenic flights, quad biking, dune boarding, desert explorations and much more.

Day 5
DAMARALAND
Departing northwards along the Atlantic Ocean you proceed inland past the majestic Brandberg Mountain (Namibia’s highest peak) into Damaraland, one of the most geologically diverse and untouched wilderness areas in Africa. The area has a free-roaming game such as Hartman’s mountain zebra, giraffe, springbok, black rhino and desert elephant, the latter 2 being extremely rare and endangered.
Your tented safari lodge nestled in rolling boulders of a granite outcrop, Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp, is conveniently situated a 10 minute drive from Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings, within walking distance of the Damara Living Museum and within the Huab River Valley. A visit in the neighbouring Damara Living Museum can be done in own arrangement, it offers a fascinating insight into the indigenous people and their heritage.

ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
We fly north to the famed Etosha National Park, home to 114 different game as well as 340 different bird species. Day 7-8
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
he following 2 days behold game exploration in Etosha National Park in an open game viewer. Etosha is a 22 750km² wildlife sanctuary in Namibia – one of Africa’s most diverse wildlife havens. Etosha means ‘place of dry water’, and refers to a flat calcrete pan of about 5 000km². The ‘Pan’ provides a great, parched, silver-white setting of shimmering mirages to an area of semi-arid savannah grassland and thorn scrub. The pan itself only contains water only after very good rains, and this is enough to stimulate the growth of a blue-green algae which lures thousands of flamingos.
The lodge conducts game drives, taking guests into the Etosha National Park during the cooler mornings and afternoons and are guided by expert guides and in open-sided vehicles. Endangered, rare and endemic mammals in Etosha include the black-faced impala, the threatened black and white rhino, the tiny dik-dik as well as many different predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard and hyena.
Overnight at Etosha Oberland – Breakfast, lunch and dinner and 2 full-day game drives.
Day 6
CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast travel by vehicle back to Botswana and to the Chobe National Park. It is home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa, and during the dry season, the herds congregate along the fertile flood plains of the Chobe River. Some of the other game species found within the park and along the banks of the river consist of large herds of buffalo, puku, lechwe, bushbuck and kudu.
