Day 1
NAMIBRAND NATURE RESERVE
After meeting your personal guide at the international airport you depart via Windhoek and down the Central Plateau to the Namib Desert, where your lodge is situated within the private NamibRand Nature Reserve. The NamibRand Nature Reserve is situated south of Sossusvlei in south-western Namibia. To date, 13 former livestock farms have been rehabilitated into a single continuous natural habitat, allowing the wildlife to once again roam their habitat unhindered.

Day 2
NAMIBRAND NATURE RESERVE
Scenic drives, flights and/or nature walks with resident guides reveal the fascinating wonders of the NamibRand Nature Reserve as do picnics in the wild, sundowner on the dunes and dinners by candlelight. The special attraction of the reserve is its diversity of landscape and is a visual utopia for artists and photographers.

Day 3
NAMIB DESERT
Your journey takes you a short scenic drive north to the edge of the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Here, you’ll find cool, comfortable and air-conditioned chalets all with canvas walls and thatched roofs.
Each bedroom has a separate ‘star gazer’ room, completely open to the sky, and the perfect spot from which to watch the celestial theatre show above. Views from the rooms, the main area and the swimming pool are of the vast, desert vistas. Activities include quad biking, scenic drives and walks, hot air ballooning, helicopter flights and horse riding.

Day 4
SWAKOPMUND
An early start from the Lodge you enter the Namib-Naukluft Park at sunrise with your guide, while the temperature is still mild and when the dune contrasts are at their best. At Dune 45, which is close to the road, you’ll stop to fully realize the sheer size of the dunes in this area. Your next highlight awaits you after a gradual guided walk up to Deadvlei, which is a must for any visitor.
The more energetic have the opportunity to climb to the upper ridge of Big Daddy Dune, one of the highest dunes in this area! Returning to Sesriem our journey takes further across scenic desert routes to the Atlantic coastline and charming town of Swakopmund. Here you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5
SWAKOPMUND
On a marine cruise on the calm waters of the Walvis Bay peninsula, you enjoy sipping cold sparkling wine and savouring the taste of fresh oysters and snacks. The afternoon is spent at leisure. Swakopmund offers a wide variety of activities.

Day 6
DAMARALAND
Departing northwards along the Atlantic Ocean you precede inland past the majestic Brandberg Mountain (Namibia’s highest peak) into Damaraland. Your luxurious lodge (meaning “The place of God”) is situated amid huge granite boulders. During the cooler afternoon hours you take part in an excursion that takes us to visit Southern Africa’s largest open-air museum at Twyfelfontein, a World Heritage Site with more than 2 500 different rock engravings from when the Bushmen inhabited this land some 6 000 years ago.

Day 7
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast depart on a guided nature drive to explore the surrounding area and search for animal life such as the desert-adapted elephants and desert black rhino. After the return to the lodge you drive on to privately-owned farm near the border to the Etosha National Park. The Etosha Oberland Lodge shares a 10km border with the Etosha National Park, combines luxury with ample privacy.

Day 8-9
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the Etosha National Park, travelling from west to east.
The park is one of the world’s most diverse wildlife parks and promises to be an unforgettable game experience. Your lodge is situated outside the park, around a busy waterhole, where wildlife come to drink right in front of your luxury tent.
The following morning you again enter the park by open vehicle for a half-day game drive. The day is devoted purely to the abundant wildlife found in the Etosha National Park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. The park is home to 4 of the ‘Big 5’ – elephant, lion, leopard and rhino – its waterholes supporting a rich diversity of birds and mammals. In the afternoon we enjoy a sundowner drive o the Onguma Reserve in an open vehicle.

Day 10
AFRICAT FOUNDATION
After breakfast, you proceed south to the home of the AfriCat Foundation. You can witness some of the foundations’ work, which is committed to researching and rehabilitating Namibia’s threatened wild cat populations. With the abundance of animal and birdlife and spectacular scenery, Okonjima is a photographer’s paradise. Activities include cheetah or leopard tracking, a leopard feed, a bushman walk or the night feeds of nocturnal wildlife.

Day 11
DEPARTURE
Start the day with a scenic morning walk, and, after a leisurely breakfast, return to Windhoek where you will arrive in the early afternoon.
