Day 1
OKAVANGO DELTA
Upon arrival at Maun Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by a Sense of Africa representative who will assist them with their scheduled light aircraft charter flight to the Okavango Panhandle.
Guests will settle into Nxamaseri Island Lodge, a serene island retreat, and embark on an enchanting afternoon boat excursion through tranquil channels, where they can spot vibrant birdlife and playful hippos.

Day 2
OKAVANGO DELTA
Following a delightful breakfast, guests will spend the day exploring the waterways by boat or mokoro, with opportunities to try fishing or birdwatch for rare species such as the elusive Pel’s fishing owl. A visit to a local fishing village will provide cultural insights into life along the Delta’s edge before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3
TSODILO HILLS
A guided journey will take guests to the Tsodilo Hills, a sacred site adorned with over 4 500 ancient rock paintings. The walking tour will offer valuable insights into San history. The day will conclude with a magical night on the sleepout deck, surrounded by the silence of the desert under a blanket of stars.

Day 4
OKAVANGO DELTA
Guests will wake to a stunning sunrise over Tsodilo Hills before returning to the lodge for breakfast. They will then board a scheduled light aircraft charter flight over the Delta’s winding waterways, arriving at Camp Okavango in time for an afternoon boat safari or guided island walk.

Day 5
OKAVANGO DELTA
Guests will explore the Okavango’s pristine waterways by motorboat or mokoro, gliding silently through the reeds in search of hidden wildlife. A guided nature walk will offer a deeper understanding of the Delta’s unique ecology.

Day 6
OKAVANGO DELTA
Another day of adventure awaits as guests explore more of the Delta’s waterways. Later, they will head to the Camp Okavango Sleepout Deck (additional cost) for an unforgettable night under the stars, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.

Day 7
MAKGADIKGADI PANS
After a final morning activity, guests will fly to the Boteti River region, where the drylands meet the river’s edge. The afternoon will include a thrilling game drive, searching for large herds of zebra, wildebeest, and other wildlife drawn to the riverbanks.

Day 8
MAKGADIKGADI PANS
Guests will explore the vast Makgadikgadi Pans and surrounding areas on morning and afternoon safaris, witnessing the striking contrast between the arid landscape and the life-giving waters of the Boteti River.

MAKGADIKGADI PANS

Day 10
DEPARTURE
Guests will enjoy a final sunrise over the Boteti River before transferring back to Maun, concluding an extraordinary journey through Botswana’s diverse and breathtaking landscapes.
