Day 1
ARUSHA
Guests arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport are met by a Sense of Africa representative and transferred to their respective hotels. Situated at the foot of Mt. Meru, Arusha is multicultural and often regarded as the de facto capital of the East African community.

Day 2
NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
The tour departs for The Manor at Ngorongoro adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, arriving in time for lunch. Visitors enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 3
NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Guests enjoy a full day of exploration in the Ngorongoro Crater. Established in 1959 as a multiple land-use area, with wildlife coexisting with the semi-nomadic Maasai, the conservancy is globally celebrated for its biodiversity.

Day 4
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, the tour departs for the Serengeti National Park on a scheduled flight out of Manyara. Few people forget their first encounter with the Serengeti, famed for its wildebeest migration in their millions. The view of endless grasslands from the summit of Naabi Hill, at the park’s entrance, is spectacular. Undeniably the greatest wildlife-watching destination on earth, the Serengeti plays host to thousands of ungulates constantly on the move in search of fresh grazing. Visitors enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 5-6
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Guests spend a full day in the Serengeti. A morning and afternoon game drive provides the best opportunity to experience the park renowned for its predators, especially lions. Over 500 bird species makes the Serengeti an incredible birder’s destination.

Day 7
PEMBA ISLAND
After breakfast guests depart on a scheduled flight to Pemba Island – Karume Airport via Arusha and Zanzibar. A Fundu Lagoon representative will assist with the transfer to the jetty and the transfer, by boat, to Fundu Lagoon. Fundu Lagoon is an exclusive privately owned boutique hotel, unique in Tanzania. Fundu has access to some of the best diving to the world.

Day 8 – 10
PEMBA ISLAND
Residents enjoy activities offered at Fundu including a Misali Island snorkelling excursion, a mangrove canoe safari and a sunset cruise on an authentic dhow.

Day 11
DEPARTURE
The tour departs for Dar es Salaam via the Mkoani Harbour and Abeid Amani Karume Airport. On arrival, guests transfer to the international terminal for outbound departure.
