Day 1 | 50 km
WINDHOEK
After arrival at the international airport, you proceed via mountainous terrain to Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia, which has an Afro-European flair and peaceful atmosphere. In the evening enjoy typical Namibian cuisine in one of the numerous restaurants in the city.

Day 2 | 260 km
KALAHARI DESERT
Travelling south after breakfast, you will soon see the red sand of the Kalahari. Your lodge is situated on a private game reserve where oryx, springbok, zebra, and a variety of smaller game species abound. In the late afternoon experience the Kalahari on a sundowner/nature drive (optional).

Day 3-4 | 450 km
FISH RIVER CANYON
This morning you travel further south and visit the quiver tree forest at Keetmanshoop, before arriving at your lodge. After breakfast, travel a short distance to the magnificent Fish River Canyon. Enjoy this natural phenomenon, the second largest of its kind on Earth. After the visit travel back to your lodge, where you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 | 430 km
LÜDERITZ
Your journey continues past Aus and down the open plains of the Great Escarpment to Lüderitz. En route see if you can spot the wild horses of the Namib, and once in Lüderitz, enjoy a scenic drive to Diaz Point, the site of Bartholomew Dias’ landing in 1488.

Day 6-7 | 250 km
SOSSUSVLEI
After breakfast you travel into the area of Sossusvlei. En route, you may choose to visit Duwisib castle. At your lodge, you have the rest of the day at leisure. The next day calls for an early rise. After taking a walk along or even up some of the majestic dunes, travel back to your lodge. Stop at the Sesriem Canyon en route.

Day 8
NAMIB DESERT
Enjoy the relaxed and friendly ambience of Namibian hospitality, while cooling off at the pool, watching gemsbok arrive at the waterhole to drink, walking the trails into the dunes or dining in the cosy restaurant. Embark on an optional guided nature drive around the Gondwana Namib Park.

SWAKOPMUND
After breakfast, travel through two rugged passes and via the Welwitschia plains and the Moon landscape to Swakopmund. Better known as Namibia’s playground, Swakopmund has numerous activities to offer.

Day 11 – 12 | 330 km
DAMARALAND
Today our journey continues through Uis past the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain (2.579m), into the Damaraland, one of the least populated and most geologically diverse areas in Africa. This harsh, rocky environment is home to the elusive desert elephant, the black rhino and free-roaming antelope species. We arrive at our lodge and the rest of the day is spent at leisure. The next day you can take part in an optional nature drive in search of the elusive desert elephant or spend the day relaxing next to the pool.

Day 13 – 15 | 300 km
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After a relaxed breakfast, you can visit a traditional Himba village. The Himba still adhere to their traditional values and cultures and are one of the last genuinely nomadic people on Earth. Travel further north to the Etosha National Park, which is home to the array of 114 different animals and 340 different bird species that thrive here. Over the next days, enjoyed game driving in the Etosha National Park

Day 16 | 320 km
CENTRAL NAMIBIA
Departing the Etosha National Park Region you today travel through the main agricultural and cattle farming region of Namibia. In Tsumeb, you can visit the local museum depicting the mining history of this town as well as a few artefacts from the souring areas representing the colonial past of this region. At your lodge, you have time to explore the diverse wildlife on an optional guided nature drive or numerous scenic walking trails.

DEPARTURE
Travel south towards Windhoek. After strolling through one of the large craft markets in Okahandja, your route takes you between high mountain ranges back to the capital city, Windhoek, where your tour ends.
