Dear Partners in Travel,

As the Covid 19 pandemic continues to deliver new challenges, we hope all of you are staying safe and are looking after your health, your families, and your teams.

Namibia is in a partial lockdown as of midnight 27th March 2020, for 21 days until 16th April 2020. It is partial as it only impacts two of the regions, Khomas (where we in Windhoek are situated) and Erongo (Swakopmund area), as this is where the virus has been found in Namibia and has the highest risk, however, this is where we are situated and accordingly all our remaining operations are impacted.

During the lockdown, we are able to work remotely; however, due to the reality of limited infrastructure in Namibia, this only applies to parts of our teams. We are accordingly still available during this period, but we count on your patience if issues take slightly longer to respond to while on skeleton crews.

This is unchartered territory for all of us, and we learn and adapt as we go along. Our focus is on trying to look after our partners and our teams so that we emerge from this ordeal stronger, together.

Regards from Lockdown

Paul Brinkmann
