BOTSWANAN MID YEAR UPDATES 2026

Can you believe we are already halfway through 2026? Time really does fly.

As we move into the second half of the year, we thought it would be a good time to share a few exciting updates from Botswana and highlight some developments that we believe will be of interest when planning future travels for your clients. Botswana continues to evolve and there is certainly plenty happening.

New Properties & Exciting Openings

Earlier this year Sediba Sa Rona opened in the Khwai area, adding another beautiful option to Botswana’s safari portfolio in one of our most sought-after wildlife regions.

Looking ahead, Singita Elela is expected to open in December 2026 in the former Abu concession and is already creating a lot of excitement within the luxury safari space.

Product Updates

Wilderness Chitabe Lediba is currently undergoing refurbishment, and we are looking forward to seeing the upgrades once completed. It is always exciting when iconic camps continue investing in enhancing the guest experience.

For those who know and love Wilderness Savuti, the former Star Bed has now been converted into the new Zibadianja Hide, creating another fantastic way for guests to experience this incredible area.

And even better news, a brand-new exclusive overnight Star Bed experience is currently under development for Wilderness Savuti guests, which will no doubt become another memorable Botswana experience.

Botswana Continues To Deliver

We continue to see very strong interest in Botswana, and it remains one of Africa’s most unique safari destinations for travelers looking for exclusivity, authentic wilderness experiences and exceptional wildlife encounters.

Whether it is the waterways of the Okavango Delta, the predator action in Savuti, the elephants of Chobe National Park, or the vast open spaces of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Botswana continues to offer something truly special.
