On 30th March Botswana reported it’s first 3 positive cases of the COVID-19 virus.
In response, the government has declared a state of public emergency and the country will go into lockdown at midnight on 2nd April, for a period of 28 days. This means that movement out of the home is restricted to those performing essential services and transporting essential goods.
As a result, the Sense of Africa Botswana office will be closed from 3rd April until 1st May.
Our staff are working remotely where possible or taking annual leave, therefore we are operating with limited staffing resources at this time.
