Ongava Properties

Herewith just a reminder of the annual low season closure of Ongava Lodge and Little Ongava, from Monday 24 January 2022. All four the Ongava camps open from Friday 1st April 2022. In preparation for the season deep maintenance, repairs, polishing, painting and general sprucing up of all properties, personnel and systems is underway.

 

Mowani Mountain Camp & Camp Kipwe

Chiwani Safari Camps have made a couple of changes to the rates and fact sheets. These are outlined below for ease of reference:

Camp Kipwe

The two new Luxury Suites have been added to the rate sheets, including the room description

Room description for the Kipwe Suite has been updated

An All-Inclusive Rate Option has been added. This allows guests the option to have ALL their drinks included (including premium brands).

Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes Afternoon Excursion has increased in price (effective from the start of the rates at 1 Jan 2022).

Mowani Mountain Camp

The Luxury Room, Mini Suite and Mountain Suite all have splash pools on their new decks.

All the room descriptions have been updated, but please take note of the Luxury Room, Mini Suite and Mountain Suite

Gondwana welcoming Am Weinberg to their portfolio

Am Weinberg Hotel will join the Gondwana portfolio on 01 February 2022 in a management capacity

Zimbabwe lifts quarantine for fully vaccinated travelers

As of 28th January, quarantine for fully vaccinated visitors to Zimbabwe has been lifted. All persons entering  must have a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours from the time of their departure for Zimbabwe.
