Namibia Visa

Kindly note an update regarding the Visa requirements for countries that have not exempted Namibians. Namibia will impose the visa requirements on 33 countries, which will start on the 1st of April.

Nationals from these countries, however, will be eligible for visas upon arrival by paying the required fees and fulfilling Namibia’s entry criteria. These requirements include, but are not limited to, having a return ticket, medical insurance, proof of financial means during their stay in Namibia, no criminal record in any country, and a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival.

Passengers from affected countries can now get visas on arrival by paying N$1,600 each.

Travellers with children

Herewith just a kind reminder that adults traveling with children under 18 years old must carry an unabridged (full) birth certificate when traveling.

Natural Selection Flying Safari

As a result of the rate increases at Desert Air, the Flying Safari provided by Natural Selections has been impacted, necessitating an increase in their rates.

 

Gondwana Collection

Gondwana is launching their latest upscale accommodations, including ‘The Nest’ and ‘The Ekipa’, set to open on December 1st.

Moreover, Namushasha River Lodge and Chobe River Camp are currently undergoing renovations scheduled for completion by November 1st, guests can look forward to an enhanced experience set in modern and spacious surroundings.

The Weinberg Windhoek is introducing a new Terrace Suite, adding to its exclusive accommodations. This luxurious 2-bedroom suite will be ready for booking starting on August 1st.

Camping2Go updates:

·        In March, Hakusembe River Camping2Go introduced four additional safari tents.

·        Additionally, Kalahari Anib Camping2Go has recently expanded its self-catering accommodations by adding four more units, now totaling eight units in all.

Activity Updates

·        Etosha Safari Lodge and Camp have discontinued the Etosha Mobile for self-guided game drives in Etosha National Park.

·        Kalahari Anib Lodge has ceased providing E-bike tours.
