Kwando Safaris, 5 Rivers Special.
Kwando Safaris has reintroduced the Kwando 5 rivers special with one common rate of US$ 650 for all camps and US$ 300 for all flights.
This special will be available on 01 December 2025 to 15 April 2026. The special is designed to be a circuit: with a full itinerary of bookings leaving from Maun and/or Kasane, to Kwando camps, and then back to Maun and/or Kasane. Any Kwando camp can be selected for stays of 7 nights or more, while certain camps can be selected for stays of 5 or 6 nights (“Kwando Minimum Night Stay”).

ILALA Lodge Temporary Closure.
Ilala Lodge Hotel will be embarking on an exciting kitchen refurbishment from 19th January to 1st March 2025. During this time the hotel will undergo a temporary closure to allow for the transformation of their culinary operations, providing an even more memorable dining experience befitting their premier location in Victoria
Falls.
Ilala Lodge regrets any inconvenience to guests during this time, and all existing bookings during the closure period will be contacted and upgraded to their sister hotel, Palm River Hotel, located just an 8-minute drive away. Complimentary transfers will be provided between Palm River Hotel, Ilala Lodge Hotel, and the Victoria Falls town center for the
convenience of the guests.

The River is finally making it’s way to Maun to join the Boro and Thamalakane rivers, and we are all excited after this dry spell. Guests will be able to enjoy not only water activities but great views while driving into town.
