Foxes Safari Camps Showcases Rufiji River Camp In Nyerere National Park, Tanzania
Forex Safari Camps launches the third promotional short film, Rufiji River Camp. The film showcases our camp set within Nyerere National Park and wildlife that live in and around the Great Rufiji, Tanzania’s largest river. The new production offers a glimpse of life around the river; the birds flying in formation above the water, the hippo that wallow in the shallows, and the crocodile who sun themselves along the riverside. Etihad Airways Expands African Footprint with New Routes
Etihad Airways is significantly boosting its presence in Africa by doubling its destinations over the next year. The airline, currently serving Johannesburg, Cairo, Mahe, and Casablanca, will resume flights to Nairobi on December 15, and launch new routes to Tunis, Algiers, and Al Alamein in 2025. By increasing its frequencies, Etihad aims to enhance its Africa footprint with 57 weekly flights across eight cities.

KQ Renews Codeshare Agreement With Chinese Airline
Kenya Airways (KQ) and China Eastern Airlines (MU) have renewed their codeshare agreement, reaffirming their commitment to enhance seamless travel between Africa and China. The partnership will allow passengers on both airlines to enjoy convenient access to a wider range of destinations across the two continents. To book a codeshare flight, passengers can simply select their desired destination and flight time on either airline’s website or through their preferred travel agency. They will receive a single ticket and a unified baggage policy for a hassle-free travel experience.
Jambo! Jambo! Airlink Adds Nairobi Night Flights.
Airlink, Southern Africa’s premier airline, will add three weekly night flights to its Johannesburg-Nairobi service from 30th March 2025. The extra flights provide greater choices for business and leisure travellers flying between the two cities and bolster Airlink’s daily service which it launched last year, when it became the first private sector airline to compete on the route.

Historic Stone Town Embarks On Restoration Project
In an unprecedented move to enhance one of Africa’s most treasured historical sites, Zanzibar’s Stone Town is undergoing a comprehensive renovation project that will see its entire UNESCO World Heritage district transformed through a meticulous repainting initiative. According to Daily News, the multi-year project, launched in partnership with local property developers, will refresh more than 2,700 structures across the historic quarter, including its famous merchants’ houses, boutique hotels, and traditional residences. The initiative represents one of the largest coordinated heritage preservation efforts in East Africa.
Kenya Airways Announces New Direct Flights Between Nairobi And London Gatwick
Kenya Airways has unveiled plans to launch direct flights between Nairobi and London Gatwick Airport starting summer 2025, marking its second destination in the United Kingdom. The new service, set to commence on July 2, 2025, will operate three times weekly using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. Flights will depart Nairobi on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with return services operating on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays. This expansion will increase Kenya Airways’ total weekly London flights to 10, complementing its existing daily service to London Heathrow Airport.

A few new additions to our rooms – is our Seafront Double Villa – which has 2 double rooms and can sleep up to 4 adults with 2 children. We simply add an extra single bed into each room. The villa has a large private plunge pool between the rooms as well as a private garden with outdoor showers and a private pathway to the beach. We also have two brand new double villas – our Oceanview Double Villas. There are two private villas, each pair consists of a two bedroom villa with a large pool and bar area with its own private dining room. Perfect for groups as they are secluded, very private and have various sleeping arrangement options.
