Malagasy Orchid “Cynorkis hasinai” named after guide Hasina

Found in Madagascar’s Montagne d’Ambre National Park, this species is named after Hasina for his dedication and observation skills. Since 2017, Hasina has been a valued companion to orchid enthusiasts, contributing to field discoveries. Niry also has an orchid named after him – Cynorkis ranaivosonii – in 2019!
