In an extraordinary cabinet meeting on 16 June, 2020 presided by President Paul Kagame, the Government of Rwanda approved the extension of closure of borders for another 15 days until the end of June. Only essential goods and returning Rwandan citizens and legal residents are permitted to enter. The night curfew (9pm – 5am) has similarly been extended.
