On 18 May, an extraordinary cabinet meeting of the Government of Rwanda reviewed the existing measures to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Cabinet approved, among other measures, the continued closure of the borders except for goods, cargo, returning Rwandan citizens and legal residents for a further 15 days.
