An evening of celebrations starting with festive sundowners at the Lounge, followed by a traditional Botswana-inspired boma Christmas Eve Dinner with carol singing by the talented lodge choir. End off the night  with a night cap, with a Savute Signature cocktail, at the f ire pit.

December 25

A delicious Christmas bush brunch with endless bubbles. After brunch, each guest will have the opportunity to indulge in a 60 minute full body massage.

Learn how to make “magwinya”, a traditional Botswana doughnut, in an immersive afternoon tea cooking class. Savour the festive flavours with a wide selection of beverages, G&T station and Amarula egg nogg.  Ease into the evening with a festive sundonwers in the bush and end off with a magical night safari.

Enjoy a festive bush brunch with endless bubbles. After a hearty dinner, cosy up with a night cap of Amarula Hot Chocolate, festive pastries and homemade candied nuts by the fire pit.

Maun welcomes long awaited Flood Waters !

The long awaited flood waters have reached the Matlapana River from the Boro river and the excitement saw the people of Maun welcoming it with open arms. The first waters of the river known as ‘Loleme,’ (first tip of the floodwaters) is believed to bring good luck to those who touch it and naturally people of all ages gathered for the occasion as the sun set in the horizon.
