Kenya Drops eTA Requirements For Most African Countries
Kenya’s Cabinet has approved new measures to simplify travel for African nationals by exempting most countries on the continent from the requirement to obtain electronic travel authorisation (eTA). According to a Cabinet statement, the exemptions will apply to all African nations except Somalia and Libya, which are excluded due to ongoing security concerns. Under the new regulations, citizens from exempted African countries can stay in Kenya without an eTA for up to two months. East African Community nationals will continue to enjoy the existing six-month stay under the region’s free movement protocols.
Turkish Airlines To Increase Flights To Tanzania
Turkish Airlines has announced major expansion of its flight services to Tanzania, starting in June 2025. The airline will significantly increase capacity across three key destinations: Kilimanjaro International Airport – from four to 14 weekly flights (twice daily). Zanzibar – increasing from nine to 14 weekly flights (twice daily). Dar es Salaam – rising from seven to 10 weekly flights.

Singita Kilima – A New Private Villa In Northern Tanzania

Serengeti: Asanja Nyasirori Is Now Open For Bookings From May 2025
Asanja Nyasirori located in the Western corridor of the Serengeti National Park is now open for bookings for the season from May 2025. There are going to be eight bomas ensuite and each boma consisting of three huts as a single unit room, each with its own facility including a lounge area, sleeping area, and bathroom. Each unit will have its own plunge pool where guests can soak up, unwind, and relax in the wilderness.
