R12.5bn Upgrade announced for SA Border Posts
South Africa’s R12.5 billion border infrastructure upgrade will modernise and secure key ports of entry, improving efficiency for trade and travel. The redevelopment of six major land border posts strengthens border management, reducing congestion, speeding up processing, and enabling smoother movement of people and goods to support economic growth.
Tourvest Launches New East Africa Safari Brand
Tourvest Accommodation has launched Tulia, a new mid‑market safari brand, following its acquisition of Wild Frontiers Uganda’s properties. Tulia opens with four properties across East Africa—one in Kenya and three in Uganda—offering accessible safari experiences positioned between budget and luxury.
Kruger Named One of the World’s Top 10 National Parks
Kruger National Park has been named one of the top 10 national parks in the world by travel platform Islands. The park continues to impress with its rich wildlife, birdlife, and range of safari experiences, earning ongoing international recognition.
