Ugab Terrace Lodge

Kindly note Ugab Terrace Lodge amended their activity offers with immediate effect:

–       The Nature Drive has been discontinued.

–       Guided Walking Trail – no changes.

–       Walking Trail with Bush Lunch has been discontinued.

–       Zip Line Main Line only has been discontinued.

–       The 2 Zip Lines option remains unchanged.

–       New activity “Rock Art Excursion” has been introduced.

A newly found adventure with drawings and engravings in various places in a radius of less than five kilometers apart not far from Ugab Terrace Lodge, exploited by a colleague of the Lodge in collaboration with locals, who in turn are reimbursed by the Lodge (putting back into the community). Interested guests are transported by the Lodge and served refreshments and drinks at a specific location during the excursion. In most cases, the vehicle can get close to the rock art, with a few short walking distances.

Eagle Tented Lodge

Eagle Tented Lodge is still closed and is scheduled to re-open in March 2022.

 

Ondili Lodges and Activities

Kindly note the latest update in regards to the Ondili properties.

Kalahari Red Dunes and Desert Homestead Outpost are in the process of getting renovated and the completion deadline, was set for June 30 2022. We will have to unfortunately postpone opening until further notice.

This is a full day excursion (09h00 – 17h00) which is designed for those interested in viewing the rugged beauty of the Namibian coastal landscape and dreams of seeing an actual shipwreck stuck high-up on a beach in one of the world most isolated place.

Shipwrecks and Diamond Camps. This three-day adventure provide the experiences of driving through some of the most spectacular dune areas, overnighting in a tented camp close to the ocean, viewing two shipwrecks, visiting areas of great historical interest and see untouched sceneries, fauna and flora.
