Day 1 | Wednesday
NAMIB DESERT
Departing Windhoek, we travel to our lodge in the Namib Desert. The afternoon is spent relaxing at the pool or taking part in optional activities offered at our lodge.

Day 2 | Thursday
SOSSUSVLEI / NAMIB DESERT
The morning demands an early start. Entering the Namib Naukluft National Park shortly after sunrise. Today’s highlight is the drive through the dune belts to Sossusvlei and the short hike to Deadvlei. We visit Sesriem Canyon before returning to our lodge. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. In summer enjoy a 4 course dinner under the stars.

Day 3-4 | Friday – Saturday
SWAKOPMUND
After breakfast we continue our journey, approaching Solitaire on the edge of the Namib Naukluft National Park, and through the “gamadoela’s” (loosely translated badlands), the Gaub and Kuiseb canyons. We arrive at the Atlantic Ocean and the Walvis Bay lagoon, a renowned RAMSAR World Heritage Site. Continuing along the scenic route, we reach Swakopmund, where the rest of the day is spent at leisure.

Day 5-6 | Sunday – Monday
DAMARALAND
Continue through Uis past the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain (2 579m), into the Damaraland. We arrive at our lodge in the afternoon, and spend the remaining day at leisure. The next day, take a scenic nature drive through the Otjimboyo Concession, head towards the Brandberg. Continue into the dry Ugab riverbed, where we might encounter the elusive desert elephant. En route, enjoy a light picnic lunch.

Day 7-8 | Tuesday – Wednesday
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
An adventure-filled day in Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO Heritage Site where Bushman communities engraved and painted over 2 500 pictures some 6 000 years ago! After a visit to the nearby Living Museum of the Damara, we proceed to the Petrified Forest – a geological phenomenon. Our onward journey takes us to the Etosha National Park. The next morning, take a full day guided game drive in the park.

Day 9 | Thursday
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Today your guide takes you on a full day game drive in the Etosha National Park. Later, we continue onwards to our lodge, where we enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 10 | Friday
KAVANGO REGION
After breakfast, travel north-east towards Kavango region. We stop at Hoba Meteorite, the world’s largest known meteorite. At our lodge, we can enjoy an optional sundowner boat cruise on the Okavango River. Overnight at Taranga Safari Lodge – Breakfast.
Day 11-12 | Saturday- Sunday
MAHANGO NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, continue into the Zambezi Region. We can enjoy an optional late afternoon boat cruise on the Okavango River. After an early breakfast, we travel into the Mahango National Park. Overnight at Shametu River Lodge – Breakfast.
Day 13| Monday
ZAMBEZI REGION
We depart the Mahango National Park and travel across to the Zambezi River. Herds of elephants, buffalo and numerous antelope roam these majestic riverine woods. With over 400 species of birds, this area counts as one of the best birding hotspots in the whole of southern Africa. You have the option to participate in an optional afternoon guided activity. Overnight at Chobe River Camp – Breakfast.
Day 14 | Tuesday
CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we travel over the Botswana border to Kasane, where we enter the Chobe National Park. This evening we enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River.

Day 15-16 | Wednesday – Thursday
VICTORIA FALLS
Travel across the border to Zimbabwe, the vibrant town of Victoria Falls. The remainder of the day is at leisure. The following day, we visit the Victoria Waterfalls. The afternoon is free for a variety of optional activities. Overnight at Shearwater Explorer Village – Breakfast

Depending on your departure flight, your guide today takes you to the Victoria Falls International Airport.
