KALAHARI DESERT
Travel into the Kalahari Desert, with deep red dunes and endless grass plains. Enjoy an optional nature drive.

Day 2 | Wednesday
FISH RIVER CANYON
Travel south to the unique Garas quiver tree forest and Giant’s Playground with the boulders stacked mysteriously. At the lodge, we can explore the area on foot or an optional guided nature drive.

Day 3 | Thursday
LÜDERITZ
Our morning starts on the edge of the Fish River Canyon. Continue to Naute Kristall Cellar and Distillery to enjoy an optional liquor tasting. Head towards the coastal town of Lüderitz, stopping en route at Garub, a viewing point for the wild horses. The following day we visit Kolmanskop, a deserted diamond-mining town. We also visit Diaz Point. Back in Lüderitz we explore this historic town.

Day 4-5 | Friday – Saturday
NAMIB DESERT
After breakfast, we travel to our lodge in the Namib Desert. Spend the afternoon relaxing or participate in optional activities. The next day we enter the Namib Naukluft National Park shortly after sunrise.
The Deadvlei is surrounded by some of the highest dunes in the world and Sossusvlei. We visit the Sesriem Canyon and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 6-7 | Sunday – Monday
SWAKOPMUND
We approach the little settlement of Solitaire, before travelling towards the harbour town of Walvis Bay.
Visit the shallow lagoon before we reach Swakopmund, where the next 2 days are spent at leisure. Explore this quaint town or take part in optional activities

Day 8 – 9 | Tuesday – Wednesday
DAMARALAND
Today our journey continues through Uis past the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain (2 579m), into the Damaraland. This harsh, rocky environment is home to the elusive desert elephant, the black rhino and free-roaming antelope species. We arrive at our lodge and the rest of the day is spent at leisure. The next day, embark on a nature drive exploring the area.
If you are lucky, you might see the elusive desert elephant. The rest of the day you can relax next to the pool or follow one of the walking trails.

Day 10 | Thursday
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Day spent in Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO heritage site where Bushman communities engraved and painted over 2 500 pictures some 6 000 years ago! After a visit to the nearby Living Museum of the Damara, we proceed to the Petrified Forest.
Our onward journey takes us to the Etosha National Park.

Day 11 | Friday
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Today is devoted purely to the abundant wildlife found in the Etosha National Park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. The park is home to 4 of the ‘Big 5’ – elephant, lion, leopard and rhino.
Despite the size of the Etosha National Park, only the southern edge of the pan is accessible to visitors. Game viewing in the park is primarily focussed around the waterholes, some of which are spring fed and some supplied from a borehole, ideal places to sit and watch over 114 different game species, or for an avid birder, more than 340 bird species.

Day 12 | Saturday
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy a morning game drive in the Etosha National Park where we may encounter animal species we have not seen the previous day and look forward to any new surprises at the different waterholes visited. In the afternoon, we continue to our lodge, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 13 | Sunday
DEPARTURE
After breakfast, we travel back to Windhoek. You will be dropped off at your accommodation or transferred to the international airport.
