Day 1
KIGALI
Arrival at Kigali International Airport, guests will be met and assisted by a Sense of Africa Uganda representative and will be transferred to Kigali Serena for check-in.
Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel – Breakfast.
Day 2
RUHENGERI
Today guests will enjoy a morning city tour of Kigali. The history of Rwanda dates back centuries, and Kigali has been a part of it for a hundred years. The city has seen major economic development resulting in what it is today; a vibrant African city of 1 million with wide boulevards, an international airport, world-class hotels and restaurants, crafts and curio shops, as well as a lively, cosmopolitan population.
Guests will visit the Kandt Museum, tour old Kigali and explore the craft centres. They will also be taken around the genocide memorial site, and new developments around the city. Guests will then take a 3 hour road transfer to Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge.

Day 3
RUHENGERI
After an early morning breakfast, guests will be collected by their guide and transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing of their gorilla tracking experience and allocation of the trekking porters. Guests will start their gorilla trekking adventure at the foothills of the Virunga mountains with stirring views in all directions.
Upon sighting the gorillas, guests will stay with them for an hour as they go about their daily life of feeding, playing, resting and raising their young. Coming face-to-face with a giant silverback gorilla must truly be one of the greatest wildlife adventures! Late afternoon, guests will go for a walk in a local community to see the lifestyle of the Rwandan people.

Day 4
KIBALE
After an early breakfast, guests will be collected by their driver guide and board an immigration clearance. Clocks need to be adjusted to an hour ahead when guests cross over to Uganda. From here they are transferred to Kisoro airstrip for their scheduled flight to Kasese. On arrival, the lodge driver-guide will be waiting to transfer them to Primate Lodge Kibale. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure. Overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale– Lunch, dinner, and breakfast
Day 5
KIBALE
Today guests will go chimp tracking in Kibale Forest National Park. After our briefing, we embark on the chimp tracking which takes about 2-3 hours depending on where the chimps are. On the trek you can see other primates such as the grey-cheeked mangabeys along with red tailed and blue monkeys. Your expert guide will share the secrets of the forest’s flora and fauna. In the afternoon, enjoy the Bigodi cultural walk.

Day 6
ENTEBBE
After breakfast, guests will meet their driver guide at 08h00 depart for Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for lunch. On arrival at Entebbe, they will be transferred to Karibu Guest House.
Overnight at Karibu Guest House – Breakfast.
Day 7
DEPARTURE
After breakfast, transfer to the airport on time for check-in.
